Lovely bungalow and beautiful surroundings, everyone really friendly. marloes Sands is a fantastic place which the dogs loved! Great place for wildlife. We have found no faults with our holiday whatsoever! 10/10.
Nice holiday, comfortable cottageand good garden. Enjoyed local walks and visit to Picton Castle and gardens. Meals at The Lobster Pot good. Weather mixed but lovely when sun shone.
A lovely cottage - the conservatory was much appreciated on some very windy days! Very peaceful and relaxing! The local churches are very interesting and there were all kinds of nooks and crannies to be explored by those no longer able to take long walks, but for those able to walk what a lovely location. Thanks for a good week.
Had a lovely time in your beautiful cottage which was clean, cosy and tastefully furnished in a beautiful location away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We will miss the birds singing in your lovely garden, and the walks and scenery were breathtaking. First time our sheepdog has been worn out with all the coastal walks!
We have enjoyed our stay. Some excellant walks from Little Haven to Morloes Sands via Martins Haven.
Thanks for a lovely stay. Had a great time. Wish we could stay longer, maybe next time.
We had a lovely holiday!
A lovely week. This a lovely, comfortable and very well equipped cottage - the best I have rented in over 20 years visiting this area. Marloes Sands is quite simply my favourite place on earth.
Hi - I'm back - had two lovely weeks, we have seen seals, choughs, gannets, oystercatchers, lots of commorants drying their wings, and a peregrine falcon and chick on a cliff top nest. Also continued my pub crawl across Pembrokeshire and would recommend the secret garden at the Grove Hotel St Davids, just the place for a little dog to rest, in the shade, under a table and snack on chips.
What a wonderful place! desperate for a relaxing week away and this was just what I needed. Marloes Sands magnificent and great for dogs. So many walks to gon on, spoilt for choice but coastal path is staggeringly beautiful. Solva/St davids area very pitcuresque and Whitesands and Broad Haven very dramatic. Only one problem too much to see and do in one week...so book two if you can! Cottage very well equipped, very comfortable, welcoming and immaculately clean - thanks so much for a lovely break.
Had a good week here.Enjoyed some good weather and lovely coastal walks, without needing the car. Also nice being able to walk to 'The Lobster Pot' for an evening meal.
Thank you for the most relaxing and memorable short stay. Though it was a brief stay it will be one we will always remember. As it was Yasmin's first holiday. Once a gain thank you all very much.
Great cottage!! Superb weather and walks!! Our first visit to Pembrokeshire was in 2003 we have visited every year since then. More to see so will be back next year!
Lovely comfortable cottage - very well appointed. Nice friendly people running 'The Lobster Pot' - casks are well kept and the food is well worth trying. Amazing weather for time for time of year. We managed to do some 36 miles of walking on the coast path without needing rain gear.
Nice quiet and clean cottage! Had a lovely holiday. Cottage was very well equipped in the kitchen.
A lovely cottage - the kitchen is particuarly well-equipped. Seen lots of birds including a pair of choughs at kete, gannets feeding off Marloes Sands and Little haven, oyster catchers and commerants at Dale, Skylarks at St Annes and gold finches here at Glebe Cottage!
We all had a wonderful time. Just what we needed, total relaxation. George loved the garden, he spent hours sniffing! Thanks for sharing your lovely cottage with us.
Had a lovely week, walking a bit more of the Pembrokeshire coast path. We were lucky with the weather and managed to doge most of the showers! Had the best meal ever at The Swan at Little Haven, and fish and chips from Broad Haven were fab. Thanks for letting us use your lovely cottage, and for making it dog friendly.
Stunning weather ideal for walking, beach and trip to Skomer. Comfortable, well-equipped cottage to return to each day. A perfect week. Thank you.
Thank you for the lovely time in your cottage. Had some great walks along the lovely beaches.
A marvellous week! Weather was nigh perfect. We came to walk the coast from Nolton Haven to Sandy Haven, sheer joy!! Scenery, flora and fauna were wonderful and even had time to sun bathe on some wonderful beaches! The cottage was great to return to. We've just finished walking the Pembroke coast path now, done in bits since 1986. Marvellous days and all for free.
Our second stay - wonderful location and fabulous weather - only 2 hours of rain over a whole 2 weeks. Thanks for another lovely stay in your beautiful cottage - very sad to go home!
What a lovely place to stay. We now want a conservatory! Couldn't have asked for better weather. Agree with earlier comment about Skomer Island trip, but would recommend that you get down there at 7.30am if you want an earlier boat. Found lots of friendly dog places. The walk to the beach on the right hand path just up the road is a nice short one, but make sure the tide is out!
Really relaxing week in a comfortable cottage - one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. Would recommend the fish as the Swan Inn in Little Haven.
Simply the best cottage we have ever stayed in. The place excudes peace and tranquility. Inspired me to cast aside the TV remote control and indulge in some very enjoyable reading in the lovely comfortable conservatory. Walking the coastline around the peninsular is a delight and returning to Glebe cottage each time feels very special indeed. Thank you.
Very comfortable cottage. We have been very lucky with the weather. We have used the coastal buses to help us walk the coast from Sandy Haven to newgale. Thank you.
Lovely bungalow and beautiful surrondings, everyone reall friendly. Marloe Sands is a fantastic place which the dogs loved! Great place for wildlife - look out for the pair of bats that swoop around the garden in the summer nights - they appear about 10pm. We have found no faults with our holiday whatsoever! 10/10
A lovely cottage, beautifully appointed and the conservatory was a boon on some dull mornings!
We thought the cottage was excellent in terms of facilities - everything is of good quality and a pleasure to use. Couldn't think of any improvements! thanks.
We have been coming to Pembrokeshire to walk the coastal path for over 10 years (sometimes 3 times a year) staying in cottages all over the place. This has to be one of the best both for the cottage itself and the location. We tend to like leaving the car once we arrive so being able to catch the Puffin Shuttle from the end of the road was great. We took the bus to Little Haven and walked back, then to Dale to walk back and our final walk was from the cottage around Marloes peninsula. We will definitely be trying for a return visit - next time for longer. Thank you for making this cottage home from home!
Loved the cottage, we wished that we could stay longer. Although weather not great, it was largely dry and didn't stop our trips. We recommend the laser combat in cenarth - really good fun. Best beach was Marloes sands and we enjoyed waling there. Went to The Lobster Pot and Clockhouse - recommend both. Hope to come back again - Thank you
Extremely comfortable and well-equipped cottage - we particularly enjoyed using the conservatory and Tammy loved the very private garden! we can recommend a visit to the Gun Tower in Pembroke Dock and the museum on the marina at Milforfd Haven. Also highly reccomended is a trip to Pembroke Castle and a boat excursion around Skomer Island - we have all learned so much about the area in addition to enjoying the spectacular scenery. We cannot reccomend any pubs or restaurants - the facilities in Glebe Cottage are so good that we had home cooking every night! Thanks for a lovely stay - we hope to re-visit soon!
Wonderful cottage. Lovely location, beautifully peaceful, scenery out of this world. Garden very secluded, the lobster pot very friendly and helpful. We would love to come again - we all needed a peaceful week to unwind and now we don't want to go home. The weather has been very good, beaches excellent.
We all had a lovely holiday, weather not too bad either! lots of Coastal Walks on the doorstep. We would love to return. Thanks!
Had a brilliant week - took Mum and Dad for long walks on coastal path, played ball and had lots of runs on the beach. Particularly loved conservatory and garden at the cottage - didn't like gravel paths as my legs are 5" long with sensitive feet. had some good pub lunches - I love chips.
Excellent cottage, well-eqipped and comfortable. Pembrokeshire was my birth place - so it's always marvellous even in the rain and we've had that this week! Would stay again but please arrange better weather!
All for a very relaxing week. Cottage and garden a "home from home". Bird life abundant. Good meals at The Griffin in Dale - enjoy the food or just lean on the wall and enjoy the locals at play on the water. The Castle in Little Haven - again an excellent meal in a relaxing restaurant with sea views. The walk to Musslewick from the cottage is easy and enjoyable - carry on along the cliff path or sit on the bench and take in the stunning scenery - the choice is yours!
Continuing our trek around Pembrokeshire's fantastic coast - this time walked from Little Haven around to Sandy Haven. Now clocked up 108 miles from our start at Poppit Sands! Wild flowers exceptionally abundant this year and weather was hot and sunny for most of our stay. Disappointed we couldn't get an evening meal at The Clock House but we left it too late for booking. Cottage very well-equipped and comfortable - thank you!
Lovely holiday, weather fab, cottage lovely and peaceful. Secluded garden - great for Bob. Harbour Inn once again great food, friendly staff. Lobster Pot had a good meal, reasonably priced, very friendly and helpful. Thanks!
We had a lovely stay and were very lucky with the weather. Had a great trip to Skomer Island and saw seals, puffins and a porpoise. Scolton Manor was worth a visit. We had some nice meals in the Lobster Pot, Clock House and a lovelt old fashioned cafe on Pembroke High street after visiting the castle. Loved the cottage.
Cosy and clean cottage, would visit again! Lovely weather - managed to dodge most of the showers! We recommend the Harbour Inn at Solva, walks to St. Bride's Bay and Marloes beach.
A comfortable, well-equipped cottage, well-positioned for lovely walks. Evening meal in the village bistro, " The Clock House", was good value and a very friendly welcome. Windy for a few days but the sun shone and the rain predicted didn't arrive!
